Joshua received a call to attend to a single mother’s home due to a leaky roof, and upon arrival, he was met by an overwhelmed mom. We all know that homeownership can be tough, even when sharing the expenses. But for a single mother juggling all the responsibilities and repairs, it had become too much. Without hesitation, Joshua called for backup!
We took care of her yard and addressed a minor plumbing issue. Then, we reached out to our friend, Jaime Ramos at Grandscape Fencing, and together, we provided this mom with a brand-new fence to replace her old, wind-damaged one. This project not only helped her feel seen and loved but also reminded her that Jesus was with her every step of the way.
By relieving her of a couple of tasks, we freed up her time to undergo a much-needed surgery and allowed her to care for herself and her son with fewer worries weighing on her spirit.
